Personal Accident cover may provide some financial support to covered persons when they suffer a covered accident.

• The cover will not normally reimburse all the costs and losses resulting from an accident.
• The amount of reimbursement depends on a number of factors such as, but not limited to, the age of the claimant, the type of injury and the type of costs incurred.
• Importantly, in Australia any medical costs that are covered by Medicare (whether fully or partly and whether claimed or not) cannot be reimbursed under Personal Accident cover.
